Is a German Shorthair Pointer right for me?

If you are looking for a medium to large built dog, an athletic and energetic pup, a dog that has a sleek, easily cared for coat (wash and go dog) with the intelligence and stamina to keep up with your busy life.. A GSP might be right for you! These dogs are fantastic house companions, will protect without aggression, will consider you their pack family and love without conditions. They are fantastic around children, learn to "play nice" with other family dogs and will go out and do what is asked of them without questions. GSPs have the instinct bred into them for all day upland bird hunting, will have some patience for goose and duck hunting, most will retrieve like the wind and some must be taught with a plus of sitting at the end of the day while watching a movie. GSPs are 'hard wired' with loads of natural instinct to point and hold the bird down. Though most of the time, unless taught at a young age, a GSP will not get along so well with household cats. A GSP does take time for training, but with the 'built in' intelligence of a GSP, it is not as long as you would think. If you can handle the energy and care of a GSP, we would be the right kennel to begin your search for your perfect hunting and house companion!

Why choose a TPK GSP?

Many reasons surround this question. We do our best to research dogs that have what it takes to hunt all day, have the temperament that a GSP is required to have and produce puppies that honor these traits.
